Registration

Q1:
I have registered and paid my registration fee. What should I do next?
A1:
Please keep your receipt as proof of payment and be prepared to
show it if necessary. During sign-in, present either a passport or
an ID card with picture to collect a name badge and all conference
documents. You can find further program details in the “Program” page

of this website. For paper presenters, please find the instructions

concerning paper preparations in the “Update” page of this website.

      Q2:

After registration, my data in the items “Title” and “E-mail” is not being fully shown. What should I do?

A2:
We apologize for this error. Our computer program limited the number of
letters to be input to 10 spaces for “Title” and 20 spaces for “E-mail”. We
realize that this is too few spaces for some records. In this case,
especially for “E-mail” data which is quite significant, if your data input has
exceeded the input limit, please inform us at
thaiconference.event@gmail.com. We will then update it in our database.

Payment

Q1:

Can I pay the registration fee in cash after I arrive at the conference?

      A1:
For security purpose, we will not be prepared for on-site registration
and we do not recommend that you pay in cash. In order to confirm

the exact number of participants, pre-registration and payment is required.

Q2:
Can I pay the registration fee by credit card?
A2:
Yes, you can now pay by VISA, MASTERCARD or JCB.
Please follow the instruction in the “Registration” page of this website.

Q3:
To pay the registration fee, can I make a normal transfer from
any bank within Thailand?
A3:
You may do that if necessary, however the money will be transferred

without your name in the report. Because of this, you are requested

to fax a transfer receipt with your name to us for your payment
  confirmation.

We have, however, contacted the Siam Commercial Bank to set up a
“Payment System” for the money transfers. With this system,
the transferred amount along with your name will show in the

“Payment Report” being sent to us.

  - You can select this “Payment System” at the item “Domestic
Payment” in the “Registration Page” of this website.
  - To pay by this “Payment System”, you can pay at any branch

of the Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand. Please inform the

bank officer that the reference number of the payment is 1.

Q4:
I’ve lost the “Payment Form” printed out from the item “Domestic
Payment”. How can I reprint it in order to make a payment at
the Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand?

A4:

You can reprint this form from the “Registration” page of this website

by clicking the “Payment Form” under the item “Domestic Payment”.

     Q5:

I registered on the website selecting the registration form in the item

“International Bank Transfer”. Because of this, I could print only the
registration reference without the Payment Form. I then decided
to ask my friend in Thailand to make my payment for me at
the Siam Commercial Bank. How can I get the Payment Form
for my friend to do so?

A5:
You can print this form from the “Registration” page of this website
by clicking the “Payment Form” under the item “Domestic Payment”.

Q6:
I am going to pay the registration fee with an “International Bank
Transfer”.  As mentioned in the website, I need to bear the cost
of the transfer fee from both the bank in my country and the bank in
Thailand (The Siam Commercial Bank). How much does the Siam
Commercial bank charge for this service?

   A6:
The Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand charges approximately
200 Baht for an international bank transfer.

Q7:
When will I get the official receipt of registration fee from the organizer?
Official receipts will be provided for all participants at the
conference. If you need it in advance, please inform us and we will
send you an electronic copy by e-mail. Should you need the original
receipt in advance, please let us know.

Conference Documents

Q1:

What evidence should I bring to collect the documents at the conference?

A1:
Either a passport or an ID card with picture will be required at
the sign-in. Additionally, please also bring your registration payment receipt
which may be needed if necessary.

Q2:

Could I get the conference documents before the conference start date?

     A2:
Yes, you can get the documents on January the 8th, 2008 at

the Main Auditorium of Thammasat University, Tha Prachan, Bangkok.

     Q3
What is the difference between the Thai student’s registration rate
  and the full registration rate?
A3:

with tea breaks and may join one reception on January 9, 2008.
